LUCID     PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology and psychotherapy sessions are between 50 minutes and 1 hour in duration.

I welcome people without a referral, also known as self-referral. This means you will not receive a rebate from Medicare for the session cost.

If you have private health insurance you may be eligible for psychology rebates. Please contact your fund to determine these details and amounts.

If you have a mental health care plan from your GP or psychiatrist you will receive a rebate of $96.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The initial plan allows you six sessions, after which you would need to return to your GP for a review if you required further sessions.

 

The out-of-pocket cost counts towards your Medicare Safety Net, and your rebate increases once you reach your Safety Net threshold.

I am registered with VOCAT, Workcover and TAC and I provide services to people with NDIS funding. These services are provided with no out-of-pocket fee. 

 

The sessions can be either in person or online.
